Blog Meet!
Whee! Kick ass!
Well, it was held at KLCC's Burger King. Well, since I am not ready to let my parents know that I blog, I told my mom that I came here to meet some old Std 6 classmates. Well, I didn't lie. I even satisfied the 'some' parameter.
Unfortunately, the person I spoke to when I did the booking didn't take me too seriously and didn't cordon the place off. I had to speak to the manager to get her to close the place off.
Some stupid people do not understand the meaning of "This section is closed". Malaysian attitute lah.
Unfortunately, the heavens did not favour the bloggers and it rained, so the theme of 'Camwhores in a Park' was just 'Camwhores in BK'.
Also, some bloggers left before I had a chance to talk to them or camwhore. I didn't realise they would have went off so soon.
For the Kenny Sia fans, I apologise. I mailed him an invitation but he was in KL on the 25th and the 26th. Well, lets see what did he miss out.
Upon disbanding, I left for home. Took the LRT home with BryanBoy and Jolin

Anyway, here are the pictures. Posted in the order that they were taken. Photos starting with 'IMG' were taken using a Canon PowerShot S45 while pictures starting with 'P' were taken using a Olympus C-740 UZ.
Most unfortunately, both cameras lacks optical stabilisation and pictures tend to be blurry. I'll post the originals so feel free to steal them. Don't try to make any money out of it though, not that you'll be able to.

Kyels behind Chung Lern's 20D.
I previously fiddled with it, makes the anticipation for my own unit even greater. I was contemplating knocking him out and running home. The camera has a Speedlite 580EX and a EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM lens. Lens diameter 77mm. I got my hard on by handling that camera. If you were to look at Kyels' right finger on the battery grip, it is hovering over the shutter button. There is also a dial near the shutter button which facilitates some controls.
I was fiddling with the Speedlite and discharged it when it was fully charged. The flash was intensely bright and even with the diffuser on it dazed me for several moments. Yes it was that powerful!
Jolene the blog dai kah jie.
Kyels. She was pretty quiet and shy through out the meeting. I'm sorry if you felt bored. Anyway, Kye Lee told me that she had just spent some money on camera accessories. An EF 85mm f/1.8 USM lens as well as a Canon Speedlite 550EX, which is similiar to what Chung Lern has on his item.
Jasiminne had the audacity to actually forget my name. Thankfully she remembers Dr. Tan though.
Chung Lern, the camera is his. His face is here. KO him for me please. Bring the camera to me, unharmed.
Jed, didn't get to talk to him.
Ivan, ditto.
Errr.... Never mind that..
Albert. He did some weird modifications to his Fujifilm camera which meant he could take macro shots with the subject touching the front element. Focusing is terribly slow though.
Rames is a comrade in the sense that he's aiming for a DSLR as well.
Shaz's height makes me feel so short.
Jason Lioh. He just got a new camera. A Panasonic FZ-30 which is similiar to the one that my brother uses. However, Jason's is in silver which is well, lets just say that black is beautiful. Unfortunately for me, Canon 300Ds are only manufactured in silver. Buggers
Joan Chew the food lover. Fortunately for her, the love for food does not show.
Boss Lepton & Boss Stewie Unfortunately, lengmou is shutting down already. We mourn the loss of a wonderful blog.

Evie. I have been seeing her everyday for ages and I never had a picture with her. A friend of mine mentioned that she's hot. Upon laying eyes on her, the aforementioned set of eyes brightened up. Bloggers nowadays, so horny.

This meet seemed to be rowdier than the previous one. The lighting was better for camwhoring but was more crampy which made walking around more difficult. For those I didn't get to talk to, so sorry. For those I didn't get to camwhore with, I'm even sorrier. I know, no excuse.
I'll steal more pictures and post them up here. Especially the moment of glory shot. Stupid Calvin.. *mumbles*

The pictures I took using the S45 were not satisfactory as it was not my unit and I am not familiar with it. Looking on the bright side however, the shos turned out pretty decent. Colours were quite natural and pictures were sharp despite the low ambient lighting, apart from those taken using the S45. In short, love thy camera, learn it, sleep with it et cetera.
